Chesterfield DA

Emergency General Meeting.

CDA held their Annual General meeting on Saturday 8th March 2025.

However to have an AGM you need at least 15 members of Chesterfield DA to be there.

Five turned up to support CDA. (Thankyou)

Also present were 4 members of the current committee.

3 members from Derbyshire DA including Chair of Regional.

The meeting was opened and then closed due to lack of members of CDA.

This means that an Emergency General Meeting (EGM) needs to be held.

This will takes place at 3pm Saturday 9th August 2025 at St Johns Church Hall, Back Walton Lane, Walton, Chesterfield S42 7LT.

At this meeting the following needs to happen :-

1: at least 15 members of Chesterfield DA need to be present.

2: From those 15 or more members we need volunteers for the following roles :

Chair

Vice Chair

Secretary

Sites manager (sorts the meets out)

PRO (website, facebook)

members for the committee

If this does not happen Chesterfield District Association will cease to be. All assetts will be frozen in case, at some point in the future, there is enough people interested to reform CDA.

When / If a new commitee is formed, this website will be updated with everythging you could expect from your locaL DA.
